Three Little Birds is excited to announce our 2025 dates for our Perinatal Bereavement Training Program!
This self-paced virtual program has been developed to support both providers and family advocates to support families bedside when experiencing stillbirth or the loss of an infant in the NICU through our Bedside Bereavement Program.
We believe that Education + Empathy = Empowerment. Since the launch of our training program we have empowered more than 27 providers and advocates (13 in 2024), provided scholarships to nine individuals to offset tuition and aspects of our program supported educating more than 225 New Jersey perinatal professionals through the Lost Hopes and Dreams Perinatal Bereavement Training Program.
Each training session encompasses approximately 40 hours of virtual content over six weeks that will discuss effective communication techniques, diversity in loss, local and financial resources and supporting families in memory making and giving the gift of infant remembrance portraiture. Once completed, trainees have the opportunity to work in collaboration to have Three Little Birds to establish or compliment an existing perinatal bereavement program/committees at local hospitals.
Registration is now open for our Spring, Summer and Fall sessions.
